We have some good news for open source enthusiasts from the Tricity area. The Gdansk Open Source Meetup Series is back with its 7th iteration. Join us in the European Solidarity Center on Wednesday, April 2nd. The registration for the event begins at 18:00 and the presentations kick off at 18:30. Please remember to sign up via Meetup.
The event features two technical talks brought to you by experts from Antmicro. The first one will introduce you to automatic creation, optimization and deployment of AI models on embedded platforms. Our colleague, Maciej Torhan will start off by explaining why creating AI models for processing sensory data on embedded platforms might pose some difficulties. Then he will move on to explaining what factors must be considered to get the model to run on embedded devices. Finally, he will provide an in-depth look on how those steps can be significantly automated and sped up using Kenning together with AutoML and Neural Architecture Search.
In the second talk we will present you with Zephyr RTOS and its Linux-like approach in the world of microcontrollers. You will get a chance to see in practice how a unified hardware description system simplifies configuration and improves the portability of applications developed. Finally, we will show you how to build an application for embedded systems based on Zephyr in just a few steps.
After the presentations please join us for the afterparty where you can connect and exchange your ideas with fellow professionals.
