This thesis project involved developing the Open Source Jetson TX1 Platform, which initially supported NVIDIA Jetson TX1 modules, providing users with access to the majority of available high-speed interfaces. The platform was later upgraded to make it support Jetson TX2 and TX2i modules.
The platform has a modular design and features a high-speed connector which allows it to be extended with an additional board, enabling any MIPI-CSI camera to be connected to the module. With a hexa-core, up to 2GHz CPU and a Deep Learning-capable 256-core GPU, it offers a great starting point for custom edge AI projects that require high performance that the TX2 can offer.
