Antmicro is once again supporting and sponsoring the community event P.I.W.O., supporting the continued growth of the open source community. The event brings together developers, researchers and engineers for various talks and discussions around technology, software and hardware projects.
This year’s edition brings together speakers covering a wide range of topics related to open source software. As part of the program, Antmicro will contribute a technical talk.
One of our talented software engineers, Dawid Pietrykowski will present "Abstracting The Hardware: Bridging Renode and Ghidra for Embedded Vulnerability Research with Open Source", focusing on how simulation and security research can replace traditional hardware-dependent workflows in security research.
The talk demonstrates how combining Renode and Ghidra enables analysis of embedded firmware without physical access to devices, allowing researchers to trace execution, inspect memory and reproduce vulnerabilities more efficiently using example firmware based on Zephyr RTOS.
Join us at P.I.W.O. 2026 to discuss modern approaches to open source development and security research.
